Preschool

Our primary goal at Kensington School is for each child to grow in skill, understanding, and confidence and to experience the joy and adventure of learning!

From first school experiences for two-year-olds to Junior Kindergarten for four-year-olds, our comprehensive preschool programming provides an outstanding setting that encourages each child’s individual potential and readiness.

full-day preschool

Children enrolled in our full-day program have an active preschool curriculum morning followed by a wholesome lunch and rest time. Older students may balance their rest time by participating in enrichment classes.  Whether it is an activity expanding on the morning’s learning or a special project developing from the children’s interests, afternoons provide extra time for enhanced curriculum.

part-day preschool

Part-day preschoolers may enroll for a morning or an afternoon class time independent of the full-day preschool program.  These classes enroll for the academic school year followed by options for summer learning opportunities.

Afternoon Enrichment School offers additional learning experiences for full-day preschoolers. Morning or afternoon Enrichment School linked with Lunch Bunch extends the part-day preschool experience. Junior Kindergarteners may also participate in the optional Tutoring Academy at selected schools.
